Does LatencyPulse send my network data anywhere?
No. All monitoring and baseline data stays on your Mac. LatencyPulse stores baselines locally in Application Support and never transmits them off your device.
Why does LatencyPulse ask for Location access?
macOS requires Location Services access to read the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) via CoreWLAN. Without it, LatencyPulse can still monitor your connection, but the network name will show as "Unknown Network."
What are baselines, exactly?
A baseline is the normal latency range LatencyPulse learns for a specific network profile — keyed by network name, connection type, and frequency band. Health states (Good, Degraded, Poor) are computed relative to that baseline, not a fixed global threshold.
What macOS version does it require?
LatencyPulse requires macOS 26 or later.
